To register with Dynamic Airline Virtual, click the "Join Us" button on the website's homepage. You will be redirected to the company's management page.
If you already have an active FlightLinq account, proceed by entering your credentials; otherwise, proceed with Registration by entering all the required information. Once you have registered, by entering your credentials the system will provide you with the following screen:
By clicking the 'Join' button, you will be able to access Dynamic Airlines Virtual. Your request will remain pending. Once the VA administrators have accepted your request, you will be able to access the Company Dashboard and start carrying out your flight operations.
The first thing to do is click on the button "App Settings" in the menu on the left. From there, it will be possible to add some personal information, such as your first and last name along with a short biography, customize the app's theme, and, importantly, enter your Vatsim and Ivao IDs. It would also be advisable to link your Discord account in order to receive information directly on your profile regarding Company activities.
From the Dashboard menu, it will be possible to see all the Company's Operations updated in real time:
From the "Airline Stats" menu, it will be possible to navigate through your statistics and view the Pilot Roster. It is important to check the "Airline Rules" section, which highlights the main company policies.
Let's leave the 'Flights' menu for a moment, which we will analyze later, and move on to the 'Live Map' menu:
From this menu, we can view ongoing flights (including our own if we are in flight with the Acars system active), as well as the positioning of aircraft (bearing in mind that this aspect is not binding for the purpose of booking our own flights).
In the 'Events' menu, it is finally possible to view and also register for events organized by the VA:
As for Global Events, registration is automatic based on Company rules. As for Airline Events, it is necessary to register personally. Before signing up for an event, make sure you meet all the necessary requirements.
By accessing the "Flights" menu, you have the opportunity to book your Company flight based on the aircraft available in the fleet.
At this point, you have the option to choose between 2 types of flights:
- Select a flight from the Company's official Timetable
- Take a Free Flight (Charter Flight), with no penalties
Let's look at the first option:
It is possible to search for available flights in TT using multiple search filters (arrival airport, departure airport, flight number). Once the flight is identified (in our example we will choose the first on the list, 2D1000 from Rome Fiumicino to Milan Linate), we click on the match. At this point, the system will show us a list of aircraft compatible with that flight based on availability and flight characteristics.
Check that everything is in order and click on "Confirm Reservation". At this point, if all the operations have been carried out correctly, returning to the Flights/My Flights menu, we will find the flight we have booked:
A reserved flight remains active for 24 hours from the time of booking; after that, it is automatically canceled by the system in order not to keep the aircraft occupied for other flights.
If a pilot reserves flights without carrying them out 3 consecutive times in 1 month, the VA will first issue a warning and then suspend and delete the account.
If the pilot is not sure about flying the route within 24 hours of booking, it is advisable to cancel it by clicking the "Cancel" button.
Now let's go back to the "Flights" menu and see how a pilot can book a Free Flight.
First of all, once back in the menu in question, click the "Charter Flight" button on the right.
After manually filling in the fields Departure Airport, Arrival Airport, and Flight Type (PAX), the type of aircraft available in the company is always checked, and then you click the "Create Charter Flight" button at the bottom right.
Based on the same concept as before, if you go to the Flight/My Flights menu, the system will show our booked flight, which the system will have assigned a temporary flight code to.
Important Note: The choice of a compatible aircraft for the route is solely the responsibility of the pilot. Considering that the Company's goal is to make money to acquire new aircraft and new hubs, the flight must be able to generate adequate compensation.
Therefore, flying a 500-mile route with an aircraft that has a low passenger capacity will automatically result in negative compensation.
If the Company deems it inappropriate, the flight will be rejected to avoid impacting the VA's finances.
To be able to use the Company's Acars, first you need to download and install the App from the FlightLinq Homepage by clicking on the 'Download App' button.
Alternatively, you can download the App by clicking the button below:
Once the setup has been carried out with Administrator privileges, we will find an icon on the Desktop to which we will always give Administrator privileges when opening.
By clicking on the icon, the system will ask us again to enter our login credentials (only the first time), with which we registered on FlightLinq and subsequently registered with the Virtual Airline.
Assuming we have already booked our flight (TT flight or Charter flight), we open the App on our Desktop and click on the Flights/My Flights Menu.
In Upcoming Flights, the app will recognize our booked flight. Click the Start button.
In the Pre-Flight Briefing Menu, it will be possible to create our Dispatch using 3 methods:
Automatically generate the flight plan from Simbrief (remember the first time to link your Navigraph/Simbrief account by entering your personal credentials and authorizing the app to use it)
Import a previously generated and saved file, also through Simbrief
Manually enter the route and flight plan
The first option is the one we normally recommend.
Clicking on Simbrief Generate will open a popup indicating which Airframe Selector to use (either the Company one or the one saved in your Simbrief).
It is essential to open Advanced Options and uncheck the options Include SID and Include STAR (if flying in countries where it is not mandatory to include them); it is also necessary to check the Plan Step Climbs option so that the flight plan contains the correct step climbs.
Once everything is set correctly, click on Generate Flight Plan
At this point, our flight plan has been generated
In case we want to manually intervene and make changes to the route, we can click the 'Switch to Manual' button and make adjustments.
By scrolling to the bottom of the page, we can directly send our flight plan to the Vatsim or Ivao Network from this area in case of an online flight.
Once we are sure that everything is correct, click the 'Save & Continue to Operations' button.
The system will show us all the specifications of our flight plan again, also giving us a weather screen for both the departure and arrival airports. If there are no doubts or changes to be made, proceed by clicking the Continue to Validation button.
We have reached the final phase, that is, the one in which, in order to start the flight, the following conditions must be met:
Simulator Connected (the dot at the top right must be green and show the text Sim Connected)
The aircraft must be positioned at the departure airport
The engines must be off
The selected aircraft must correspond to the one planned for the flight
Fuel must be available
The parking brakes must be engaged
The aircraft must be on the ground (not in flight)
If all these conditions are met and highlighted in green, it will be possible to click the Start Live Flight button and begin our flight.
Note: The Company ACARS require to function a stable and active internet connection and only the software FSUIPC free modality opended and background activation
As for scores and penalties, please refer to the Airline Stats/Airline Rules Menu visible previously registration at the Company.
While waiting for official certification on the VATSIM and IVAO networks, Company pilots can still fly online using the Callsign DYE, followed by their own ID/flight number.
In the RMKS of the online flight plan, include the string CALLSIGN/DYNAMIC to be properly recognized.
The correct pronunciation of the Company Callsign is Dynamic ("dainamic")
